A Well Spring of Poetry: Charles Causley Poetry Workshop

Alyson Hallett   Victoria Field

Dr Alyson Hallett and Victoria Field are running a poetry workshop based upon two poems by Charles Causley that have moved and intrigued them.  We will use ideas from these poems to springboard into writing.  The workshop is open to all, no experience necessary.  Please bring a notebook and something to write with. Dr Alyson Hallett is the current Charles Causley Poet in Residence. Her latest collection of poems is Suddenly Everything and she is well known for taking stones around the world with lines of poetry carved into them. See wwwthestonelibrary.com for more details of her work. Victoria Field works as a writer and poetry therapist and her most recent collection, The Lost Boys, won the Holyer an Gof award for Poetry and Drama. She blogs at www.poetrytherapynews.com
